Plan Description
The Village Revitalization Project began after hearing from overseas visitors who expressed a strong desire to learn more about Japanese culture — not only by observing, but by participating in authentic experiences.
Located about one hour from Himeji Castle, this village is a precious place where traditional Japanese rural landscapes, historic shrines, and a rich cultural heritage are still carefully preserved.
However, like many rural areas in Japan, the community faces challenges due to a declining birthrate and aging population. The local elementary school is at risk of closure. This project was created as a new form of community participation, allowing visitors to contribute to village revitalization through meaningful cultural experiences — something very different from a typical sightseeing tour.

Tour Highlights
🍶 Sake Brewery Tour & Tasting
Begin your experience with a visit to a local sake brewery. Learn about traditional brewing methods and enjoy tasting of carefully crafted Japanese sake.
🌾 Cultural Experience in Yasutomi Town
After the brewery visit, you will travel to Yasutomi Town, where beautiful countryside scenery spreads out before you.
While enjoying both lunch and dinner featuring local cuisine made with regional ingredients, you will experience traditional Japanese performing arts, including:
- Koto
- Shakuhachi
- Shamisen
- Japanese traditional dance
You will enjoy these performances while surrounded by peaceful rural landscapes.
⛩ Shrine Visit & Dedication Ceremony
After lunch, you will visit a local shrine and ceremony of worship and offering at the local shinto shrine.
This special moment allows you to connect deeply with Japanese spiritual traditions and the heart of the community.

- The tour will operate with a minimum of 10 participants.
- Children 3 years ol👫and under who do not require a meal or a seat will not be counted toward the minimum number of participants.
- However, please be sure to inform us in advance if you will be bringing a child.
