In Japan, it’s traditional for women to give chocolate to men. Recently, though, “friend chocolates” and even treating yourself have become just as popular.
In many Western countries, couples typically exchange cards, flowers, and chocolates, and celebrate with a romantic dinner. Unlike Japan, there is generally no White Day.

In Japan, department stores are famous for their special Valentine’s chocolate events. Overseas, you can enjoy Valentine-themed restaurants and special events created just for the occasion.
Even though the customs may differ, the feeling of expressing love and appreciation is the same everywhere.
