Fun ride to the sea and Himeji castle.

We had the pleasure of welcoming a lovely couple from Australia on our e-bike cycling tour!

They joined our 9:30 AM tour the other day, and we had such a wonderful time together.

At one point, it looked like it might rain, but the husband cheerfully told us, “I’m a lucky guy when it comes to weather—it always stays sunny wherever I go. It only rains after I leave!” And amazingly, that’s exactly what happened! We managed to avoid the rain the entire time we were cycling, and on our way back, we saw puddles everywhere—it must have rained nearby while we were out!

They chose a course heading south from Himeji Station toward the sea. Since they had been doing a lot of walking during their stay in Japan, they decided they wanted to enjoy cycling instead.

The route was about 20 km, and we rode at a relaxed pace throughout. Along the historic Gin no Bashamichi, we stopped by temples and shrines, giving them a chance to experience a bit of Japan’s history and culture.

In the afternoon, we also visited Himeji Castle together, making it almost a full-day tour! Thank you so much for spending such a long and memorable day with us.

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to meet such a wonderful couple—it was a day we will never forget.
