A Perfect Day on Scenic Awaji Island—Smiles from Our Guests and a Stunning Sunset

We boarded the bus and set off on our journey.
This bus tour was designed to gradually make our way to Awaji Island, picking up guests at three different locations along the route.

We were blessed with beautiful weather that day—clear air and a bright blue sky stretched out before us, making it the perfect day for travel and a refreshing start to the trip.

To reach Awaji Island, we crossed the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, enjoying the scenery along the way as we headed to our lunch venue.
At lunchtime, our guests enjoyed a generous spread featuring seasonal ingredients, including Awaji beef shabu-shabu, tempura, takikomi rice, and fresh sashimi. To ensure everyone could relax and savor their meal, we scheduled a slightly longer lunch break, allowing each guest to enjoy their time at their own pace.

After lunch, the atmosphere remained warm and cheerful—some guests joined in a karaoke session on the bus, while others relaxed in the hotel’s hot spring. Smiles were everywhere, and it was truly a delightful time that allowed everyone to fully experience the charm of Awaji Island.
One particularly memorable sight was watching ama divers fishing in the sea visible from the lunch venue. Although the day itself was warm, one can only imagine how cold the water must have been.

Time flew by all too quickly, and before we knew it, it was time to head home.
As we began our return journey, a breathtaking sunset came into view through the bus windows, slowly sinking into the horizon. The sky, painted in shades of orange, was so beautiful that it left us speechless.

The moment we saw that view, all the fatigue from escorting the tour seemed to disappear in an instant. From inside the bus, we could hear voices of admiration—“Wow, it’s so beautiful!”—as everyone shared in the magic of the moment.
