CYCLE TOURS

Escape the crowds of the city and journey into the heart of rural Japan on this immersive e-bike cycling tour from Himeji to the peaceful landscapes of Shiso.

This experience invites you to discover the origins of Japanese sake in a region where ancient brewing traditions were first recorded in the Harima no Kuni Fudoki. As you ride along quiet countryside roads, you’ll pass rice fields, traditional homes, and hidden pathways that reveal a slower, more authentic side of Japan.

With the support of a comfortable electric bike, you can fully enjoy the scenery without worrying about physical effort, making this tour suitable even for beginners. Along the way, your local guide will share fascinating stories about the region’s history, culture, and the deep connection between nature and daily life.

A special highlight of this tour is a visit to a shrine closely associated with fermentation and sake brewing. Here, you will discover the spiritual roots behind Japan’s unique food culture and gain a deeper appreciation for the traditions that continue to shape it today.

The journey continues to the historic Yamazaki Sake Brewery District, where old wooden breweries still line the streets. In this atmospheric setting, you will enjoy a nourishing fermented lunch made from locally sourced ingredients—an experience designed to refresh both body and mind.

Blending cycling, culture, food, and spirituality, this tour offers a truly unique way to connect with Japan beyond the typical tourist experience. Perfect for those seeking authenticity, relaxation, and meaningful discovery.
