The hot summer has arrived!
Across Himeji, preparations for the autumn festivals are now well underway.
The Himeji autumn festivals are historic traditional events where portable shrines (yatai) are paraded through the streets to pray for a bountiful harvest and the health and safety of the community.
To ensure the safe operation of the festivals, route inspections and planning meetings take place throughout the summer.
🚲 If you don’t have a bicycle for route checking, please consider using our electric rental bikes.
They’re easy to ride uphill and highly maneuverable, allowing you to stop anywhere to receive explanations, making them perfect for inspection work.
Additionally, if you rent a bike for more than three hours, you will receive a complimentary ticket for Himeji’s famous “Eki Soba” noodles 🎁.
Reservations are recommended, but same-day rentals are possible depending on availability.

姫路の秋祭りは、五穀豊穣や地域の無病息災を願って屋台（やたい）を練り歩く、歴史ある伝統行事です。
祭りの安全な運行を支えるため、夏の間にルート確認や段取りの打ち合わせが各地で行われています。
